We have an empty room in the house, and no furniture to go in it! We have never had a living room or dining room before, just an eat in kitchen and family room. So, now we have this extra space and nothing to put in it!
Well, we bought the first thing to go in there yesterday, and it will be delivered tomorrow. I'm sooo excited!
Right inside our front door, on the wall that has stairs on the other side, we were thinking of a sofa table or a secretary to hold mail, stamps, etc. Then, we decided we need something that can hold our laptop. I like to use it at the kitchen table, but we don't want to actually KEEP it in here. We have a desk area upstairs in the loft, but it's too far away and a pain in the butt.
SO, we were walking around Staples yesterday and saw a computer armoire. I thought one of those would be too big, but I really liked this one and it was on sale! We walked away from it, but later looked it up on the internet and found the same low price PLUS free shipping! YAHOO!
It is dark wood, (REAL WOOD) and has a spot for the computer, plus inside there are little compartments for mail, little drawers, even a corkboard on the inside of the door and a magazine holder in the door. When you go look at it, be sure to look at all the views.
