I think we've pretty much decided on paint colors for our entire first level, and soon the work will begin. I'm not looking forward to doing it.
Our kitchen will be apple green again, I loved that color in our old house.
Our Family room joins with the kitchen, it will be a golden tan color with a slate blue (think blueish-grey) accent wall.
We have a small hallway that will be dark brown, the one wall extends into the living/dining room and the other walls in there will be light blue.
In that small hallway is our half bath which will be a coral pink. I got the greatest towels that are cream colored with a pink & green ribbon on the bottom, and they match perfectly, and I found them AFTER I got the paint! YAY!
So, colors near each other will be tan/Slate, Tan/apple green, apple green/dark brown, dark brown/light blue and dark brown/coral pink.
