Does everyone know about the power of fabric softener on wallpaper? I love it! Sure, it is still a PITA, but at least it smells good! It makes a little mess as it drips down the walls, but at least you won't have to add fabric softener to the load of laundry when you wash those towels!

How do you do it?
I'm so glad that you mentioned this because when I was at my sister's new house last night she asked me how to get the wallpaper off in the bathroom. That's probably going to be my job when we're there tonight.

Well, the guy at Lowe's told me to mix about 1 part CHEAP fabric softener to 2 parts water in a spray bottle. I asked about getting the Paper Tiger thingy to score the paper and let the softener get under the paper, he said that wasn't necessary and it would damage the drywall underneath. Well, I still think I should have gotten one of those, but oh well. It isn't coming off in huige pieces or anything, but it is working.
I'm using a plastic putty knife to scrape it off. Spray it, mostly at the edges, let it sit a minute or 2, then start scraping. repeat endlessly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I've also used hot water & vinegar. I think your idea smells much better.
