I saw a commercial for a show airing on October 5, where the designers get 100 grand instead of only 1. They're in the garden of a huge mansion, and it features Doug, Laurie, Amy Wynn and Ty. I'm thinking 2 carpenters?! Anyway, it looks like it will be interesting. I'd love to see what they can do when the monetary restraints are gone. I'm also curious about who gets to be the lucky recipients!!! I wish that was MY house they chose for that show!!! Also, on tonight's "TS: Family", Edward took a cue from Hildi and attempted to dye 2 chairs from pinkish/mauve to black. NOT PRETTY!!! We all thought Hildi was crazy to paint furniture, but believe me, hers looks a million times better than what Edward tried to do. YIKES!!! Miki Ask me about AVON!!

And the show was great! Laurie was SO excited. I thought she was gonna jump out of her skin and land on her maple floors! And I thought doug was pretty funny. I totally liked the BEFORE of that room, I thought it was pretty. Laurie sure was excited. Even if I had money, I could not bring myself to spend $2,800 on an ugly uncomfortable chair..lol. Did anyone catch the latest Oprah show with Nate Berkus where he did "fakeovers"? Vern was on it too, showing how to get good fake copies of real pricey things. Great show!
